Dräger PSS® rescue hood

The Dräger PSS Rescue Hood is an example of a constant flow emergency escape hood which is ideal for helping others escape from hazardous environments.

This rescue hood is suitable for use with any self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) unit which is fitted with a secondary supply hose.

Once connected to the secondary supply hose connection the rescue hood should be placed over the head of the person being rescued and a constant rate of air is allows to flow into the hood. A drawstring function will ensure the PSS rescue hood is held in place.
