Dräger Safety offer the 990 combination filter to protect against class 3 particulates, gases and vapours of organic compounds with boiling point > 65 °C and inorganic gases and vapours. This includes chlorine, certain levels of hydrogen sulphide and hydrogen cyanide.

One pack contains 5 x A1B1E1K1Hg P3 R D filters. The filters also protect against sulphur dioxide, hydrogen chloride, Ammonia and organic Ammonia derivates and mercury vapour.

The Rd90 filters have a 91mm diameter connection. This is a Dräger-specific connection and can be used to connect with Dräger half masks in the X-Plore 4390 and 4790 range. An Rd40/90 adapter must be used if trying to use the 990 B1E1P3 Rd90 filter with a standard EN 148-1 mask
